Email from Gavin to fans

Hey everyone
It's been some time. how are you?

I wanted to let you know what I have been working on and what's happening.
First off-
I am setting up my new website at Gavinrossdale.com (not live yet but coming very soon)

And I am about to go in and record my first solo record.
I am working with the producer bob rock.

We have a great band to do the record and we start next week.

We'll do half the record in la and the other half in hawaii,where he lives-on the north shore.

So as you can imagine I'm pretty excited about that.

I have spent all of last year writing-and
Here goes.

I have also done the theme for a new show on fox
Which starts on sunday called
DRIVE (8pm est/pst)
That song will be on the record and a taste of what's to come.

I know I've taken silence to a new quiet but
You knew I was up to something.


Kingston is magic by the way.

So-
Check out the new song-
Obviously it is only a small part of it but
You'll get the vibe.

Otherwise
We're going to be getting the website going.

And we'll be making big sound.

I really enjoyed being in that band.
